DURABLE, LEAK-PROOF, EASY-TO-OPEN, BENTO-STYLE LUNCH SYSTEM
Bentgo Kids is an innovative bento-style lunch box designed exclusively for active kids on the go. What makes Bentgo Kids so much fun is the endless combinations of nutritious foods you can pack in the five convenient compartments. The largest compartment is the perfect size for a sandwich, wrap or salad. Three mid-size compartments are great for fruit, veggies and other snack favorites. The smallest compartment is sized just right for dipping sauces or dried fruit snacks.
Bentgo Kids’ removable compartment tray allows you to mix and match the three fun colors to suit your child’s unique preference or have a spare tray to pack one in advance.
The outter container is made from a durable plastic with silicone around the edges to reduce scratching and also reduce movement when it's touched or leaned on by your child (less chance of it ending up on the ground). With 2 easy to use clips this lunch box is easy to open and close for all ages.
Another great feature is the inner tray is microwave safe up to 3 minutes on medium heat.

I bought this in two different colours. The blue one, the lid was a bit warped but i guess did not affect the performance of the box apart from being a bit awkward to open. Its also a bit on the heavy side. And does not fot the So Young lunch bags just fyi. Otherwise they seem to be pretty good quality.
My boy is going to Prep next year and I bought a few lunch boxes and this is one of them. I haven't started using it yet but I must say I love how the size of each little compartment is designed to suit little children's appetite. Its anti slippery design is another clever idea incorporated so it's hard to spill the food. The only down side is the weight of the lunch box is not light at all. So if you want to buy something light and easy for kids to carry, you might want to put this in consideration.
I have used (and loved) Bentgo Kids for 2 years, but the kids have grown and we needed something to accommodate more food. Bentgo Fresh is it!
The new bigger dimensions are excellent and the large compartment will now fit 2 full sandwiches with crusts (or 1 with LOTS of filling).
This feels like it's made out of the same quality material as Bentgo Kids, which from experience, honestly stand up to the test of time. That’s a massive credit to them because kids (mine especially) are brutal with their handling and transportation of their bags and lunch boxes. My only concern is the rubber edging (top and bottom) has not been replicated in the Fresh design. Because of this, compared to the Kids design, I find the Fresh slides around the kitchen bench-top a bit more when I’m packing it, whereas the Kids never even budged. I worry that in the hustle and bustle of the morning routine, it will be much easier for the Fresh to be bumped and slide right off the kitchen bench, resulting in either damage to the box, or a mess to clean up. I’m also concerned that the same thing is more likely to happen at school, when the kids are sitting down to their table to eat with this Bentgo Fresh out on the table in front of them. Time will tell. If it performs as reliably well as the Bentgo Kids design has in terms of keeping food fresh, compartmentalised and leak-proof, I wont be able to fault it.
